Higashimurayama isn't only flashy tourist spots; it has plenty of restaurants and diners locals use day to day. Japanese, Western, Chinese, family restaurants — being able to eat well without putting on airs is very Higashimurayama. After sightseeing, you're sure to find a place to relax and catch your breath.
How to choose by occasion

- With friends or on a date: places with a calm atmosphere, or those stocking local sake and craft beer, are distinctly Higashimurayama.
- Solo and casual: at a station-front set-meal shop or diner, you can drop in on a whim.
